Flightman™ Communications Module is a software module for the management of multiple communications channels and airborne devices over IP networks. This allows for policy-based routing and rating.

The primary responsibility of Flightman™ Communications Module is to exchange aircraft data over the most appropriate communications channel to the ground.

In addition Flightman™ Communications Module is responsible for the onboard communication device management and ensuring the aircraft communication status is propagated to the relevant systems.
